The USB2/VM/CAC SIP draws its power from the server and has a 'Keep Alive' capability that is designed to keep your server working properly with or without connectivity to the KVM switch. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems to ensure it will work with your KVM switch. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
